At the Law Offices of Walter F. Benenati, Credit Attorney, P.A., our work does not stop after you case is over. We will review your credit reports in order to verify that they are accurate three months after an Orlando bankruptcy case is completed.
Additionally, All bill collectors or lawyers that have been harassing you for debt collection will be forwarded to us the day you hire us when providing an initial down payment retainer. We instruct creditors to direct all communication to our office.

Walter F. Benenati graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University’s esteemed Honors College after receiving the coveted USA Today’s All-Florida Academic Team Full-Tuition Scholarship.
He attended St. Thomas University School of Law on a scholarship for academic achievement and the school awarded him the Most Outstanding Student in the fields of Contract Law, Advanced Legal Research, and Writing.
Mr. Benenati earned his juris doctorate in 2006 and passed the Florida Bar Exam on his first attempt. He has dedicated his practice to the protection of consumer’s rights in Orlando since then.
Mr. Benenati is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), The Central Florida Bankruptcy Law Association (CFBLA), and The National Association od Consumer Advocates (NACA).
Ileana Azcunaga Associate Attorney
Ms. Ileana Azcúnaga graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with Departmental Honors and was a member of the Sigma Delta Pi National Spanish Honor Society. Ms. Azcúnaga then continued her studies at UCLA, obtaining her Master of Education degree in 2003.
After moving to the Orlando area with her husband, an Associate Professor of Spanish at Rollins College, Ms. Azcúnaga earned her juris doctorate in 2007 and graduated cum laude from Barry University School of Law. Ms. Azcúnaga attended Barry University School of Law on a scholarship for academic achievement and earned the Most Outstanding Student awards for Legal Research and Writing II, Mediation, and Trial Advocacy.
She also served as Managing Editor of the Barry Law Review Journal in 2006-2007. In 2008, she passed the Florida Bar Exam on her first attempt. Before joining Mr. Benenati’s firm, Ms. Azcúnaga served as a Criminal Defense Attorney for the Office of the Public Defender in Orange County for two years. Continuing in her pursuit in helping Central Florida residents exercise their rights under the law, she has now dedicated her career to helping consumers facing foreclosure and utilizing the Bankruptcy Code to obtain debt relief for her clients.
Ms. Azcúnaga is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida, Orange County Bar Association, and Seminole County Young Lawyers Division. She is also fluent in Spanish.
