Wayne Spivak brings a vast breadth of knowledge of bankruptcy to the Benenati Law Firm, having practiced in the field of bankruptcy for over 25 years. Before joining our team, Wayne worked as the senior bankruptcy managing attorney in a successful bankruptcy practice. Before that, Wayne worked as the staff attorney for the Standing Chapter 13 Trustee Laurie Weatherford for the Orlando Division in the Federal Middle District of Orlando. Working there gave him firsthand insight on achieving a successful Chapter 13 case. He brings this knowledge and experience into every Chapter 13 case our firm files on behalf of our clients from our offices in Orlando and Kissimmee.

Wayne earned a Bachelor of Arts for Public Administration from San Diego State University in 1998 and a J.D. law degree from the highly renowned Stetson University College of Law in 2005. Stetson University College of Law is ranked #1 by U.S. News in trial advocacy and #3 in legal writing, two of the most important attributes of bankruptcy.

Before practicing law, Wayne spent 9 years on active duty in the U.S. Navy as an electronics technician and then worked for 7 years as a Claims Representative for the Social Security Administration. He is an active member of the Orange County Bar Association and the Central Florida Bankruptcy Law Association, having recently presented at a seminar on student loan modifications. In his downtime, Wayne enjoys visiting Walt Disney World, the site of his and Melissa’s nuptials, spending time with his three adult children, and traveling with his wife.
